Post-Production 1- “focus of your editing”

As of Tuesday, March 9, I have been working on and perfecting my cover page and contents  page rather than my article yet; as mentioned in my peer review blog post, I had some issues with how little catch phrases were on my c o ver,  as well as some minor  mistakes with color choices, inconsistencies in font, and some minor measuring mistakes as well.  I will use “Henriette Compressed Heavy” as the font throughout the cover . For the title, I will change the font color to black, since white was hiding some of the characters, and  center it as it was not done so properly.  The content page has also been fixed to be  more classy   to fit the theme presented in the rest of the magazine. This allows the flow and presentation of the information to be more genuine and fitting.  

Peer Review

  While presenting the portfolio project, I was able to get lots of feedback from my peers and my teacher  about the pros and the cons of it.  Overall, despite positive comments about the looks of the photography and the overall idea and theme, I have a lot of areas that I need to improve;  these stretch from what pictures I should use, the organization of my paragraphs, and the consistency of what font I use. Little detail s were also pointed out to make sure that my magazine does not have any flaws, such as centering the title in the cover page and change the color to a more noticeable one that does not blend in  with the background. The inconsistency between my front cover and the rest of my magazine was also pointed out, as it seems to shift from a classy theme to a more patriotic one, so I will need to work to mix the two together .
